HOW MAURER FINANCIAL SERVICES CAME TO BE

When I was 25, my Pastor introduced me to a young man named Mike, who had recently begun his career as a Financial Advisor.  I was impressed with how Mike was helping others become financially secure and avoid mistakes that could devastate them financially.  That's what I wanted for myself; so I asked Mike to mentor me and  help me prepare for my own career as a Financial Advisor.  Then, one evening, while driving home from work, Mike was tragically killed in a car accident.  He was just 28, and had a wife and (2) young children.  Fortunately, Mike had taken steps to protect his young family in case there was a time he wasn’t able to do so.  I’m sure Mike never imagined, nor did any of us who knew him, that that day would come when he was just (28) years old. I  tell this story to reinforce that none of us knows what tomorrow holds.  That’s why preparing for unexpected events is so important for our financial well-being and the well-being of those we love.  I've learned, over these past decades, that becoming financially successful is not solely determined by  income, but by how effectively you manage money, save and invest, and prepare for events that can be financially devastating.  Are you prepared if the unexpected happens tomorrow?
